Sunday, April 11 -  Bike Ride at Crowders, with proceeds going to the
Friends. Registration starts at 9:00, with the ride starting at 10:00.  The
ride will depart from the parking lot for picnic shelter #2.  I need
volunteers to be at the park by 8:45.  If anyone has any questions, they can

Saturday, April 17th - Trail  workday  from 8:30 to noon.  If the weather is
questionable call the park office 704-852-5375 after 8 AM.

Saturday, April 24th - Earth Day at the Schiele Museum.  The Friends will be
in the parade starting at 10:30 and you are welcome to participate by
meeting at the Friends table at 10 AM.  We will have a table at the
activities from 11 AM - 4 PM and could use some help with staffing the table
and helping with a butterfly bingo activity for the young.  If you can help

Saturday, June 5th - Dave Cone Memorial Campout.  Join us as we remember the
campouts Dave had organized and the fun that was had.  Details to be
announced.

Sunday, July 4th - 10th Anniversary Celebration.  We are planning a family
oriented afternoon and evening, possibly ending with viewing fireworks.
There will be activities for young and not so young along with a picnic and
entertainment.  Please mark your calendar for this very special event.
