How can I visit the Park?

Crowders Mountain State Park is located in Gaston County, 25 miles west of Charlotte and six miles southwest of Gastonia. Exit Interstate-85 EXIT 13 turn left on Edgewood Rd. and go South to US 29/74 and turn right. Continue 29/74 to the next traffic light and turn South onto Sparrow Springs Road (SR 1125) to the park entrance.

 If you plan on climbing you need to turn left onto Linwood Road from Sparrow Springs road at the Golf Course sign.
 Follow Linwood road until you see the Linwood Access of to your right.

If you are going to the Boulders Access you need to travel South on Interstate 85 and turn right onto Dixon School Road and then left at Bethlehem Road. Follow Bethlehem road and right at Van Dyke Road. The Boulders visitors center will be on your right.
